From academic research to critical oil, gas and energy operations: see how IDUS has evolved over time.
2004 to 2008
Academic roots and the first solutions
At UFRN, master's research and funded projects gave rise to SISAL, a supervision system for oil wells, and BR-AlarmExpert, an industrial alarm management software. The first deployments at Petrobras led to the monitoring of 3,000 wells in Rio Grande do Norte and Ceará.
